Course
Course Description
The Family & Friends CPR program teaches how to perform
CPR in adults, children, or infants and how to help an
adult, child, or infant who is choking. This course
offers the opportunity to learn basic CPR in a dynamic
group environment, designed for those who prefer to
learn in a group environment with feedback from an
instructor.
Intended Audience
The Family & Friends CPR course is designed for family
members, friends and members of the general community
who want to learn CPR but do not need a course
completion card. This course can also be a
non-credentialed option for middle- and high-school
students.
Course Content
• Adult/Child CPR
• Adult/Child choking
• Infant CPR and choking (Optional)
Course Length: Approximately 1¼ hours without
Infant CPR or Infant CPR only for 1¼ hours
Written/Skills Exam:
None
Card Type: Participation
letter will be provided by the instructor at the end of
the class.
