Heartsaver CPR Course

Course Description
The Heartsaver CPR course trains lay rescuers to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies with adult, child, and infant victims and covers emergency resuscitation techniques, prevention, and use of barrier devices.

Intended Audience
Designed for the person whose company does not have an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). The participant will learn Adult, Child and Infant one rescuer CPR and Foreign body management (FBAO).

Course Content
• Adult/Child CPR
Heartsaver CPR course completion card• Adult/Child Choking
• Infant CPR and choking (Optional)
• Adult/Child CPR with mask (Optional)
• Infant CPR with mask (Optional)

Course Length: Approximately 3 hours, 2 hours without infant CPR.

Written/Skills Exam: Skills testing with AHA Instructor during course.

Card Type: Heartsaver CPR course completion card will be issued within 30 days of the class, but the instructor will provide a course completion letter at the end of the class. This is a two-year certification.
